    We are looking to recruit for the following positions:

    Project Engineer Roles:
    Small Works and Main Contracts
    AD Sprinklers is looking to recruit a Project Engineers both for our small works and main contracts team due to join our team of accomplished Engineers and apprentices.

    We are looking for someone who is dynamic and self-motivated with a proven track record within the Fire Protection industry.

    Main Responsibilities:

    -To run projects from £750 to £ 500,000.00+
    -To be able to run projects from survey to completion and liaise with clients at site meetings and in office meetings.
    -To be able to organise materials, fabrication and labour to ensure the installations run smoothly and all aspects of the projects run smoothly
    -To be able to negotiate variable costs with clients and substantiate where applicable to be able to secure the additional costs.
    -Ability to design and project manager and be fully conversant with the LPC BS EN 12845 regulations as well as B 9251, FM Global/NFP and Special Risk works.

    You Will Need:

    -To be able to work under pressure and be able to meet demands and deadlines for design.
    -Time proven track record within the Fire Protection industry with a minimum of 2-years’ experience.
    -The ability to communicate with senior members of staff and discuss projects and best practices for design works.
    -Knowledge of the BS EN 12845 preferably with the LPC Basic exam, FHC and working towards the Intermediate Exam.
    -Ability to use AutoCAD design software and fully conversant with Microsoft word, excel and other office based software.
    -To be flexible in respect of working times as overtime maybe required as per the industry norm.

  • Pre-Construction Manager

    Job Description

    An exciting position working very closely with all types of clients, the sales department and contract teams to provide support, advice, specifications, preliminary designs and quotations. It will require a dedicated and motivated individual with a a large skill set for all types of work such as ordinary / high hazard, residential, high rise, wet risers etc. They should able to take on the challenges of pre-contract work whilst engaging with clients, developing close working relationships, providing solutions, value Engineering and able to understand the clients needs. They should have a good understanding of H&S, costs and installation times. Capabilities and skills should be in line with the following, where possible:

    - Provide quotations / tenders to new and existing customers;
    - Establishing and maintaining and expanding customer base;
    - Carry out surveys of the purpose of formulation tenders;
    - The surveying, planning and designing of fixed fire protection systems to conform to current technical and quality standards, both as   specified in contracts and as may be required by the company: eg BSEN 12845, FM, NFPA, BS 9251 and BS 9990.
    - Assist, where able, in the training of all staff within their teams;
    - In line with all other personnel, be an acceptable ambassador of the company and therefore a sales person;
    - Attending site and contract meetings where necessary;
    - Recognising project specific Health & Safety requirements.
    - Evaluating pre-contract variations and advise implications
    - Recognise the ongoing need for change and encourage adaptation to change.
    - Provide training and development of all staff within their teams where necessary.
    - Encouraging teamwork and supporting all members of staff where reasonably expected.
    - Attend client meetings to provide information and guidance to help them put together specifications.
    - Produce outline specifications and support for clients and consultants.
    - Provide technical and general support to the sales team.
    - Formulate sales reports to submit to the sales manager monthly.

    Preferred Computer Skills Required

    - AutoCad.
    - FHC – Canute.
    - Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
    - LPCB qualifications – e.g. Basic, Intermediate & FHC.


    Salary - Negotiable depending upon experience.
    Company Car - Allowance to choose own vehicle - (Driving licence is required). 
    Fuel Card - Personal and company use.
    Mobile Phone - Iphone or Android.
    Holidays - 25 days + Bank Holidays + Birthday.

  • Apprentice Office Admin

    Apprentice Office Admin - Office based role 37.5 hours per week, working with the different teams in the company learning every aspect of contract admin,

    Assisting with various duties, such as:

    •Signing off supplier invoices
    •Raising customer invoices;
    •Filing and general office and accounts duties
    •Answering the telephone
    •Helping with organising team builds

    The following skills are required;
    - Must be Fluent in English
    - Be able to use Microsoft office such as Word, Excel and outlook to a basic level
    - Must be confident answering phones and talking to customers
    - Must be Enthusiastic, a team player, punctual, have good communication skills and keen to learn

  • Apprentice Service Coordinator

    Apprentice Service Coordinator

    Fantastic opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join a rapidly growing company, based in Denton, Manchester.

    The role will involve working within a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, providing support to our Service Department; both internally and externally.

    Main responsibilities will include:
    *Scheduling maintenance visits
    *Managing Customer expectations
    *Responsible for keeping all documentation up to date, appropriately logged and filed including daily management boards
    *Processing quotations for clients
    *High volume of customer calls and emails each day
    *Ensuring that engineers receive daily work sheets on time
    *Invoicing customers for works completed
    *Raising purchase orders
    *Where necessary take ownership of specific customer(s) to improve our customer satisfaction
    *Archiving, Filing and general office duties

    Skills and experience:
    *Excellent telephone manner
    *Strong communication and rapport building skills
    *Computer literate with experience of Microsoft packages
    *Excellent attention to detail
    *Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload
    *Customer focussed
    *Able to work well under pressure

    There will be elements of the role that will include site visit (accompanied) and periods of time where it will be necessary work alongside our on-site engineers to gain necessary training as part of our structured Apprentice programs.
    We understand that the role will require some training, mentoring and support before you are expected to undertake any tasks in isolation.
